How to cite this
Every number in the atlas names the source it came from, and this page says which version of the atlas you are looking at — so a figure you quote can be found again exactly as you saw it.

The atlas keeps its data in the same repository as its code, so the commit pins both: the figures and the arithmetic that produced them. The repository is public, so a reader given the commit can open the exact file a number was computed from.

}Put the date you read the page in place of <your date>. The atlas is rebuilt whenever its data changes, so a bare URL is not enough to find the version you used.
Cite the sources, not us, for the facts
Almost nothing here is ours. A prevalence range is Orphanet’s, a variant classification is ClinVar’s, a trial is its registry record, a quoted sentence belongs to the paper it is quoted from. Cite those, and cite the atlas for what it did: the matching, the computation and the version. Every layer and its source, with release dates (4 named in the index's own metadata).
The things that ARE ours, and want citing as the atlas: the computed similarity between diseases, the mechanistic comparison, the drug rankings and their evaluations, the splice and editing engines, and the derived layers built from public files — the prevalence estimates per disease, the mutation classes, and the primary endpoints collected per disease from the trial registry.
In code
Every answer from the public API carries the same version, so a script can record it with the data it read:
curl https://phenotech.mehro.ch/api/v1/version curl https://phenotech.mehro.ch/api/v1/disease/MONDO:0009669 | jq .versions
Computed and literature-derived data for research. Not medical advice, and not a diagnosis: treatment evidence here is always something to discuss with a clinician.
